I forgave someone.

I looked my father in the eye I never had for 33 years.

I persevered.

I sought being happy as much as possible.

I learned.

I cried.

I changed.

I would not be silenced.

I accepted.

I forgave myself.

I began to live like there’s no tomorrow.

And in the process of that long walk that took a decade, I look back at the amount of accomplishments I made that I never owned self credit for at heart.

Reflecting daily on empowering ourselves can sometimes become egotistical.  It’s when we can look at trends to see the patterns of our behavior’s change that we can really know progress’s self ownership.

Wishing each of you a wonderful new year and decade.  May the lives you touch continue to be blessed as mine are with you in it.

A few weeks ago Sylvie Dixie from Fuelmyblog put a call out to members of the community to consider reviewing two ‘hygiene’ products…I think that’s what they’re called. Before going on, let me say that I was asked to receive these products, use them, and relate my experiences. This isn’t about you…it’s about “ME”…just in case the FTC is reading this, which they should because I’m a really smart guy, I’m sexy, have a soothing touch, and I’m sexy.

Did I say I’m sexy in case the FTC is reading this? (Hope it’s a heterosexual single FTC agent, because I’m not in the demographic of aspiring a relationship with a transgendered, gay, lesbian, or bisexual FTC agent…just sayin)

My link I’m updating today; or did and this may be a predated entry (yuk yuk); is for a special blogger who’s been there for probably anyone who reads this blog, Daddypapersurfer.  His old work is found here, prior to him going ‘Pro’.

I’ve had the chance of learning more about him than most people should know about anyone.  His vast experience professionally, family values, and ability to cheer people up constantly with his witty comebacks, insane sense of humor, and someone who’s personally lifted me up at times just knowing…

…this is getting sappy.

He’s on one hand old enough for me to look up to, while at the same time never give me advice I don’t already know.  The ability to redirect someone to what they need to look at in themselves, but can be a hard thing to see when it’s dark at the time.

He’s also one of the people that’s made Fuelmyblog what it is today, and to come, and that’s pretty cool.
