Well, I’m ‘certifiable’ now, but you knew that already. There was some microdrama regarding my State Certification, but it’s all over…I’m now a Certified medical professional in the State of Florida. The drama came about due to my ‘unconventionalality’…I do things ‘my’ way.

While others were going about pursuing this adventure and ‘volunteering’ “after” finding out it was possible…I refused to ‘buy in’ to the mob mentality.

So, rather than go ‘conventional’, I printed out a copy of my ‘Linked In’ online resume and threatened someone I’d have all my readers at different online communities spam their mailboxes at work with “JohnC is SO sexy”.

I was doing ‘peer to peer’ support on the streets and online years before anyone was a professional in Florida…and it was necessary to prove something.

Blogging IS therapeutic, and I made people accept my advocacy between my blogs that disclosing living through recovery of a mental illness online is no different than elsewhere…because it’s ALWAYS there…unlike spoken word, or a mere meeting for an hour here or there.

It validated blogging as a media.

And I’m soap boxing.

I haven’t had the insecurity of wanting to, but my blogging empowers me…even if it’s considering getting a wireless security systems. You know what I mean…if you’re safe, you’re safe. If you don’t feel it…you know you can overcome your worstest fears in the world.

‘Cause JohnC will listen.
